About

Kat and Leo are two college kids from different parts of the world. There may be cultural differences, but the one universal thing we have in common is procrastination. The internet only aids in our mission to avoid work, and we have decided to share the fascinating things we find around the interwebs.

Beach days

slice, originally uploaded by oOkatochanOo.

I live in Hawaii, yet I hardly ever go to the beach. I happened to go to Poipu beach the other day, though, and I'm glad I did. It was a stereotypical Hawaii day, despite the tourists blanketing the beach (although, I guess it wouldn't be Hawaii without tourists).

I decided to try out some action shots, which I haven't done before. There were a couple guys skimming and bodyboarding, so I decided I wanted to capture the motion of the waves when they rode them. I snapped a few good ones, but this was by far the best. The detail came out the best on this, and I was very pleased. I expected a lot of motion blur. Perhaps I will send it in to Guy Hagi and see if it gets on the news? :P
